Where and How are Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons Used?

Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) are pedestrian-activated, high-intensity warning lights that notify drivers when a pedestrian is entering the crosswalk. RRFBs can be installed at marked, uncontrolled crosswalks. View this PDF to see exactly where and how Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons can be installed.
