Carmanah's Power Systems Group has provided a remote home office in British Columbia with a 1.4 kW off-grid solar-power system. This off-grid solar system consists of twelve (12) Evergreen solar modules, one (1) MX-60 solar charge controller, two (2) Outback inverters, as well as eight (8) Surrette Big Red batteries.

The customer is a radiologist who has set up an elaborate, yet perfectly functional remote home office & getaway. Although the facility is off-grid, it contains all the electrical conveniences of a typical home office operating on conventional power.
