Carmanah has recently supplied MTR Corporation with Model A704-5 solar-powered LED obstruction lights for installation on a steel cable crossing as part of Hong Kong's Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Project.
This is one of the most unique installations for Carmanah's solar LED obstruction lights to-date, as the A704-5 lights are suspended on a 2" diameter cable on specially-engineered mounts.
The Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Project, scheduled to open in June 2006, will take tourists on a 5.7km cable car journey over the Tung Chung Bay to a cultural themed village, as well as the world famous Tian Tan Buddha Statue.
