Carmanah's authorized distributor for Australia, Orion Solar Solutions, has recently placed obstruction lights at the Hegigio Gorge Pipeline Suspension Bridge project in Papua, New Guinea.

The Hegigio Gorge Pipeline Suspension Bridge is a unique oil transmission line built to carry oil from a new production area in Papua New Guinea. Carmanah's proven and reliable solar-powered obstruction lights were an ideal solution for this application, as the project required sealed, reliable, self-contained lights that could be easily installed.

Orion Solar has been one of Carmanah's most active distributors after launching the company's entire solar product line in Australia in 2004. Orion has been successful in placing lights for a range of obstruction and airfield lighting applications, including the Southport general aviation airport in Queensland.

Carmanah has more than 100,000 units installed in 110 countries and maintains a solid reputation as the world's leader in self-contained solar LED lighting.
