The crew secured the massive metal structure and got a closer look. They were amazed. "It's supposed to mark the approach to the entrance to the channel for Boston Harbor.

Carmanah Provides Solar Power Systems for Water Level Monitoring in Ontario

Carmanah's Power Systems Group recently supplied a number of its proprietary MAPPS remote solar power systems to an Ontario-based public utility. These solar power supplies will be installed to operate water level sensors in a creek located upstream from a hydroelectric dam in Southern Ontario. The water level sensors will be monitoring creek levels several times per day and providing this information to dam operators via a cellular modem.

Carmanah's LED Sign Group has received an order from a First Nations Resort and Casino in Ontario for 98 color-changing table limit signs, 64 of which will feature the Company's new integrated LCD scrolling message unit. Located in Rama, Ontario, the resort and casino offers a complete entertainment experience to visitors, with over 2,300 slot machines, more than 120 gaming tables, nine unique restaurants, a world-class 5,000 seat entertainment centre and a 300-room full-service hotel, featuring spa and health club facilities.

Carmanah Supplies Remote Solar Power Systems for Automated Gate Entrances in Ontario

Carmanah's Power Systems Group has recently supplied a number of its proprietary MAPPS remote solar power systems to an Ontario-based fencing manufacturer and installer. These remote solar power systems are scheduled for installation in a rural area just outside of Sarnia, Ontario for the purpose of driving remotely-activated gates for vehicle entry and exit. The rural location of the installations made grid-based power impractical from a cost standpoint.
