Canadian Consolute Features Carmanah Products at AusRAIL PLUS Conference & Exposition, Australia

Carmanah is pleased to report that its Authorized Distributor for Australia, Orion Solar Solutions recently exhibited the Company's solar-powered LED aviation and obstruction lighting at the AusRAIL PLUS 2005 Conference and Exhibition in Sydney as a guest of the Canadian Consulate. Held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, AusRAIL PLUS was a key event for exposure to the entire Austalian rail industry.

Carmanah’s LED Internally Illuminated Street Name Signs Approved by Florida Department of Transportation

Carmanah is pleased to report that its UL-listed, industry-leading LED signs are now officially approved by Florida's Department of Transportation (FDOT) and available on the Florida Approved Product List (APL) under certification #69938890427011. Carmanah is currently the only manufacturer of LED edge-lit, internally-illuminated street name signs approved for in the state of Florida. Carmanah's approval comes after 12 months of analysis and testing by FDOT engineers to ensure that the products are built to the highest standards and deliver a bright, uniform light output.

Carmanah's Solar Power Systems Group has received an order from Chroma Communications in Coquitlam, BC to install solar-powered LED area and sign lighting at the University of British Columbia's (UBC) Endowment Lands pullout, just south of West 16th and Marine Drive in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Carmanah Receives Multiple Orders from the US Air Force for Solar LED Airfield Lighting

Carmanah has recently received three separate contracts from the US Air Force for solar-powered LED airfield lights that will be installed at various air bases in the Middle East. Approximately 100 units of Carmanah's Model A601 taxiway and obstruction lights will be deployed at the Kandahar Air Base in Afghanistan.

US Army Orders Carmanah Airfield Lighting Kits for Two Iraq Air Bases

Carmanah has received an order from the US Army to supply two of its airfield lighting kits for installation on secondary runways at the Tall'Afar and Qayyarah Airfield West (Q West) air bases in Iraq. Located in northern Iraq near the Tigris River, the Tall'Afar and Q West Airfields do not have the reliable electrical infrastructure necessary to support hardwired airfield lighting for their new secondary runways.

Carmanah Supplies Four 100W Solar Power Systems to Michigan Technology Company

Carmanah is pleased to announce the receipt of two orders from a Michigan technology company to power critical natural gas monitoring equipment. The orders consist of four of Carmanah's 100-watt MAPPS solar power systems. These orders follow the successful installation and ongoing performance of two previous systems purchased in the spring of 2005.
