Carmanah Technologies Inc. of Victoria is supplying solar-powered LED (light-emitting diode), marine lanterns to the U.S. Coast Guard for installation on navigation buoys marking the Emergency Response Security Zone in New York Harbour. An advanced one-to-two nautical-mile marine navigational and hazard-marking light, Carmanah’s 601 is designed for use on aids to navigation, buoys and industrial/commercial facilities.
