Londoners will soon be able to read timetables at bus stops at night using sunlight. Transport for London is about to install solar-powered lights on bus stops to improve visibility for passengers and cut down on electric street lighting. The roll-out will start in October in Ealing, Harrow and Hounslow and be completed in five years.
