VICTORIA — Carmanah Technologies’ solar-powered, LED- illuminated bus stop, the iStop, will be making life a little easier for transit riders in Southern California soon. Victoria-based Carmanah has received a $120,000 order for the iStop from the Antelope Valley Transit Authority, which serves the municipalities of Lancaster and Ferndale north of Los Angeles.
The iStop consists of an illuminated bus schedule, a security light and a flashing LED- beacon.
