Carmanah Receives Contract for Marking Anti-Terrorism Nets

Carmanah Technologies Inc. (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) received a Navy contact to supply Model 601 solar-powered LED lanterns for marking anti-terrorism nets. Carmanah’s marine lanterns will be used on a floating barrier to protect ships while in port. Model 601 LED lantern is the world’s most advanced 1- to 2-mile navigational light. Completely self-contained and maintenance-free, it provides up to five years of operation without battery or bulb replacement or servicing.
