Carmanah has received an order from the US Air Force (USAF) for 300 units of its A601 taxiway lights, as well as related A601 stake mounting hardware and bolt kits. These units will be installed at a Forward Operating Base in the Middle East that already uses more than 2500 units of Carmanah’s solar LED portable airfield lights.
The USAF has been using Carmanah’s solar-powered LED aviation lights for Middle East US DOD and Coalition Forces Operations where powered infrastructure is not available or unreliable. Carmanah’s airfield lights are ideal for permanent, temporary and emergency airfield lighting applications.
