Carmanah’s LED Sign Group has received an order from a major beauty and skin care products brand for 1069 customized retail LED point-of-purchase signs to be installed in the window of various retail stores and salons across the North America.
The client required Carmanah to design the signs with their commitment to corporate environmental responsibility in mind. Most of the signs’ components are made of either recycled material or are recyclable or reclaimable when the signs reach the end of their lifespan (10+ years).
The energy-efficient signs illuminate the logo on the side facing outwards and on the inward facing side is a non-illuminated silk-screened graphic. This graphic, which is made from an environmentally-friendly copolyester amorphous thermoplastic called PETG, not only adheres to the company’s environmental guidelines, but also provides the signs with durability and impact resistance.
The Carmanah-designed signs are also unique because they are constructed using a stainless steel back-plate (a highly-recycled material). The signs effectively communicate the contemporary, upscale positioning of the brand while respecting and addressing the client’s environmental values in an aesthetically-pleasing design.
