Through an authorized distributor, Carmanah’s Solar LED Lighting Group has recently supplied a number of its Model M501 solar LED lights for perimeter marking at a shellfish farming operation in British Columbia, Canada. These lights are scheduled for installation approximately 1.5 miles offshore in the Strait of Georgia.

Perimeter marking is a very common application for Carmanah’s M501 low intensity marine light. With its encapsulated polycarbonate/polymer design, the M501 is completely waterproof, vibration-proof and virtually indestructable. It is ideal for all types of marine lighting requiring up to one mile in visibility.

Carmanah’s solar LED lighting technology was selected by the shellfish farming operation primarily because of the Company’s reputation and the quality of its products. Carmanah was the original inventor of self-contained, solar LED lighting and remains the global leader with installations across more than 110 countries.
