Carmanah’s Solar Power Systems Group is pleased to report it has supplied 1000 2W solar modules to a datalogging company in Alberta, Canada.

The customer was looking for a reliable supplier for a specific solar module to power its proprietary datalogger equipment. The customer’s previous source for these modules had problems with meeting agreed delivery times, putting the customer in a difficult position and delaying the supply of its products to its customer base.

In September of 2005, the customer selected Carmanah as an alternative supplier and placed a blanket purchase order for 4 shipments of 250 modules. All four shipments were delivered within the times agreed and at a competitive price.

Carmanah is now working with the customer on a modified 2W solar module that will better suit the customer’s requirement. The Company expects to deliver approximately 200 units of this new panel per month for the next year.

Carmanah’s Solar Power Systems Group has over 20 years of technical experience, and maintains one of the widest selections of renewable energy products available in North America.
