Carmanah’s Power Systems Group has received an order from Volpe Industries for a 64 watt/24 volt MAPPS (Modular Autonomous Photovoltaic Power Supply) system. The system will be installed at a solar-powered security site in Seekonk, Massachusetts.
Volpe Industries, a leader in IP (Information Protocol) Video technology, uses the Internet to provide affordable, global surveillance security and solutions to virtually any location. For this particular security application, Volpe required a highly-reliable, remote power system to security cameras and radio transmitters. Carmanah’s MAPPS was selected as the ideal technology solution because of its fully-integrated design and field-proven reliability.
