Carmanah’s Solar LED Lighting Division has received an order for 33 LED edge-lit street name and traffic signs from the City of Canton, Ohio, through its authorized Ohio dealer Path Master. The illuminated signs will help drivers with way finding, and help improve safety by increasing the visibility of safety signage.
The slim profile and lightweight design of the LED edge-lit signs were key factors in the decision to choose Carmanah signs over other illuminated sign alternatives.
As part of this order, the City of Canton will install several single-sided underhang mount signs, as well as a number of illuminated “One Way “and “Left Turn Only†signs. Internally illuminated signs are becoming increasingly popular in the Midwest states, and this order represents Carmanah’s first large install of illuminated signs in Ohio.
