Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) has issued its second order of the Model 601 solar-powered LED aviation lights for maintenance and construction use during the winter months of 2003/2004. This order comes after a successful trial period through the summer months of 2003 for construction lighting on the tarmac of GTAA. In response to existing electrical circuits being near capacity in the areas of construction, GTAA will benefit from the use of solar-powered LED aviation lights without the need of near capacity power resources.
