Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) GA Lighting Subcommittee Test Scheduled for May 8-10 in Shelton, WA.

The IES Committee will be conducting a General Aviation taxiway edge light test in Shelton, WA between May 8-10, 2003. The purpose of this test will be to analyze the effectiveness of cost reduced taxiway edge lighting for General Aviation Airports.

The IES Committee is devoted to the study of application and control of light and lighting to spaces and functions involved in the operation of aircraft. It is an honor for Carmanah to participate in this test with the IES Group this May. Carmanah is committed to developing solar-powered LED aviation lighting solutions for the benefit and safety of General Aviation Airports.
