Carmanah has received an additional order from the US Air Force for 300 units of its Model 601 taxiway edge light for permanent installation at a Middle East airfield.

The US Air Force is currently using Carmanah’s patented solar-powered LED airfield lighting at multiple US Air Force bases throughout the world. With zero infrastructure, no maintenance and easy installation, Carmanah’s products are providing effective airfield lighting at 1/10the cost of powered airfield lighting. Four different airfields in the Middle East are currently using Carmanah Aviation Lights for runway edge lighting, taxiway edge lighting, obstruction lighting, apron edge lighting, heliport perimeter lighting and barricade lighting.

Carmanah’s self-contained aviation lights are the ideal solution for permanent, temporary and expedited airfield lighting. Based on the success of its international installations and the resulting positive feedback, Carmanah is continuing to develop new products and technological enhancements for its aviation lighting product line.
