Zurich International Airport (ZRH), also known as Kloten International Airport, is Switzerland’s largest international gateway and is hub to Swiss International Airlines, install obstruction lights. A new runway approach at Zurich International made it necessary to build a new tourist-viewing platform for incoming and outgoing international air traffic. Since this tourist-viewing platform is in the flight path of oncoming air traffic, ZRH will install Carmanah’s solar powered LED obstruction lights to mark its location for planes.

ZRH is an internationally recognized commercial airport that will benefit from Carmanah’s maintenance free, solar LED airfield lighting solutions. Installation of Carmanah’s lights will take minutes with no wiring, cabling or power required to light the platform.

Carmanah’s International airport customers include Chicago O’Hare, Vancouver International, Dubrovnik International and Auckland International. For more information, contact contact Allister Wilmott, the Business Development Manager for Carmanah’s Obstruction Lighting Division.
