Carmanah Lights Ordered by US Army Medivac Hospital at Camp Udairi, Kuwait

Carmanah is pleased to announce it is providing Model 702 helipad edge lights to the US Army for installation at the at the Camp Udairi, Medivac helipad zone in Kuwait.

Carmanah’s lights will be used for outgoing and incoming Medivac pilots responsible for the transport of patients and personnel during Middle East operations. Pilots will benefit while using night vision goggles as Carmanah’s solar-powered LED edge lighting is NVG compatible.

Camp Udairi has been faced with the demanding task of constructing a helipad landing zone in a quick and timely manner. Carmanah’s solar-powered LED airfield lighting is an easy-to-install and portable technology -it can be up and running quickly and eliminates the need for external power, cabling and all associated capital/operating costs.
