Carmanah’s Power Systems Group has received an order from a global manufacturer of GPS-based technology for 22 units of its proprietary MAPPS solar power systems.
Carmanah’s MAPPS solar power systems will power GPS equipment used for freeway bridge monitoring by the Washington Department of Transportation. They will be deployed along the Interstate 5 corridor to detect bridge movement and provide continuous input to a centralized data center.
