Carmanah’s Solar LED Lighting Group recently supplied its A601 helipad lights to the Howe Sound Pulp and Paper Mill. These self-contained, solar LED lights will be used to increase safety and visibility on a corporate helipad at a remote location in British Columbia, Canada.

Carmanah’s A601 helipad lights were deemed the ideal choice for the mill’s outlying mountain location, as they operate independently of the electrical grid, can be installed quickly, and require no scheduled maintenance for up to five years. They have also been extensively field-proven to be reliable year-round, even under harsh environmental conditions.

Carmanah’s Model A601 solar LED lights are currently in use as helipad lighting at defense and commercial airports worldwide. Carmanah is the primary provider of solar LED lighting solutions to US Defense, NATO and many other international defense organizations.
