Carmanah’s LED Sign Group recently supplied the Aseneskak Casino with a number of its proprietary “Slot Topper” LED edgelit signs. These signs will be used to enhance slot machines at the 20,000 square foot facility.
Situated on the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, the Aseneskak Casino (www.bestlittlecasino.ca) is located in close proximity to The Pas in northern Manitoba. The casino opened its doors in February 2002 and is entirely owned and operated by a consortium of six First Nations. Currently, it features 177 slot machines and eight table games, along with a restaurant/lounge, gift shop and art gallery.
A representative of the Aseneskak Casino originally saw Carmanah’s proprietary LED edgelighting technology at the Canadian Gaming Summit. Impressed with the technology’s bright, eye-catching illumination, they requested Carmanah to provide design proofs for customized “candle”-mounted slot toppers that match the Casino’s interior design theme. The initial order was placed based on these design proofs.
