Carmanah Honored as One of VIATeC Top 25

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA  (December 8, 2010) – Carmanah Technologies, the world leader in solar powered LED lighting systems and Canada’s largest provider of solar grid tie and mobile power systems, has recently been recognized as one of the top 25 high technology companies in 2010 by the Vancouver Island Advanced Technology Center. The top 25 list is based on revenue performance. The top 25 companies selected drive almost $800M in revenues, which is up significantly from previous years, and employ over 3000 people. The results of these companies show that the technology sector on Vancouver Island is a significant force in the local economy.
