Carmanah Reports Successful Results at 2012 Annual General Meeting

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA (May 28, 2012) Carmanah Technologies Corporation (TSX: CMH) is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed at its Annual General Meeting held on May 24, 2012 (the “AGM”) were duly passed.

The shareholders approved the re-appointment of Rob Cruickshank, Bruce Cousins, Bob Wiens, Peter Berrang and Dr. David Green as directors of Carmanah. Also approved was the adoption of the Shareholder Rights Plan.
“We are pleased that 35% of the common shares were represented at the AGM,” noted Bruce Cousins, Carmanah’s CEO. “Our shareholders responded positively to the resolutions that were presented by management.
