In recognition of Earth Day earlier this week, we are proud to release our 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility Report. In this annual overview, we cover the three commitments that make up our triple bottom line approach: people, planet, and profit. This year’s highlights include:
- Our first-ever Carmanah in the Community day, in which staff helped with either a local beach cleanup or helped sort donations at the local food bank.
- A 27% overall reduction in emissions over 2017 levels—and 23% lower than our 2014 baseline.
- Our tier one suppliers signing our Supplier Code of Conduct.
- An ongoing commitment to dark-sky friendly products, Vision Zero and traffic calming, and innovative changes to the way we think about infrastructure.
