Carmanah has received an order from the US Army for a large number of SG-4 solar power charge controllers. These units will be used for critical targeting equipment used during US Army training exercises and live firing exercises at the Yakima Training Center.
The Yakima Training Center, a 500 square mile military training facility located in the Yakima and Kittitas counties of eastern Washington, is available for military training and recreational activities.
For its scheduled training exercises, the US Army needed highly reliable, easy to wire solar charge controller.
