Carmanah is pleased to announce the addition of a new LED Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI) to our aviation product line. PAPI’s are an essential safety component of any airfield lighting system and greatly increase the operational profile of any airfield. This product is a milestone addition to the total LED airfield system offered by Carmanah Aviation.
Airfield needs differ greatly, and Carmanah’s PAPI, which satisfies ICAO and FAA requirements for light intensity, is adaptable to many scenarios. The PAPI can be used in fixed or temporary modes, and can be quickly deployed for military or emergency situations, or permanently mounted for long term use. Additional options include infrared LEDs, remote control, and because of Carmanah’s unique expertise, the ability to power through solar only, battery, traditional power or a solar hybrid.
The PAPI is another example of Carmanah Aviation’s leadership in delivering total LED lighting solutions to airfields throughout the world.
