Carmanah Technologies is pleased to announce the launch of the R247-E Solar 24 Hour Flashing Beacon.

The R247E is the third generation of Carmanah’s flashing beacon series, with advancements that include increased light intensity and a lighter, smaller solar engine. The compact design will readily install onto existing two-inch sign posts, or larger four-inch diameter poles or wood posts and features an on-board user interface for simple configuration and troubleshooting.

Carmanah’s Flashing Beacons have become the standard for State, County, and Municipal agencies throughout the Country with thousands of installations spanning over a decade. Used to increase vehicle compliance to warning signs and stop signs, the R247-E is an MUTCD compliant warning beacon (yellow indication) and stop beacon (red indication).

In partnership with Carmanah’s distributor Temple Inc, the R247-E will be showcased at the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Annual Meeting and Exhibit, August 12-15 in Atlanta Georgia!
