Carmanah has received an order from San Juan County for a number of units of its R247C 24-hour solar LED flasher. These units will be installed at various stop locations where regulatory signs are being missed.

This order is based on the successful field trial of 3 R247C systems installed in the Fall of 2005. “The units worked right out of box and the instructions were simple. We like the custom frame for mounting to U-channel double post and we were very happy with the installation. Thanks for your expert help!,” stated Robin Cobb of the San Juan County Traffic Division.

Carmanah manufactures compact solar flashing beacons for crosswalks, school zones, and 24-hour applications, and LED illuminated street-name signs and regulatory signs. More than 250,000 installations worldwide attest to the reliability and operational benefits of Carmanah’s products.
