Carmanah’s Solar LED Lighting Group recently supplied its R247C solar LED warning beacons to a US Customs and Border Protection location in Texas. The LED warning beacons will be used to improve safety by reducing vehicle speeds at a border checkpoint area.
US Customs and Border Protection officials wanted a solution that offered easy installation with the ability to mount on to 2 3/8″ poles already in place. With no trenching, cabling or wiring required, and easy retrofit onto existing structures, the R247C offered the perfect solution.
