And they’re doing it all with… apps. They save time, they’re easy to access, they’re personalized. In so many ways, they just make life easier.
But the benefits aren’t limited to time-strapped consumers. For transportation professionals, particularly those whose jobs regularly take them away from their desks, apps are a boon for convenience and productivity.
Which is why we’re so excited to announce that as of Q1 2023, our entire SpeedCheck radar sign portfolio comes with the SpeedCheck Manager Mobile App, providing easier local setup, scheduling, and data retrieval—no laptop required. This app can be used on both Android and iOS devices.
SPEEDCHECK-15 and SPEEDCHECK-18 can now be set up and programmed from the app
In addition to our SPEEDCHECK-12 system, which we released with app compatibility in 2021, you can now set up and program your 15- and 18-inch radar speed signs with the SpeedCheck Manager mobile app.
The app has the same functionality as the PC software, allowing users to configure SpeedCheck settings from their phone. Adjust speed thresholds, schedule operation, check system health status, activate stealth mode, download data, and more—all from your phone.

Schedule any sign directly from the app, at no extra cost
As part of this update, we’ve also enhanced the app itself, adding the ability to create, adjust, and delete schedules. While this feature was previously available with our PC software, techs can now accomplish the same tasks—from simple on/off functions and data collection times to complex school zone schedules with unique daily timetables and holiday exceptions—within the app.
Note: External outputs, such as flashing beacons, can also be set up and configured from the app scheduler, making it a complete hardware + software solution for school zone applications.
