Carmanah Announces Amendment to Voluntary Pooling Agreement

Carmanah Lights Ordered by US Army Medivac Hospital at Camp Udairi, Kuwait

Carmanah is pleased to announce it is providing Model 702 helipad edge lights to the US Army for installation at the at the Camp Udairi, Medivac helipad zone in Kuwait. Tallil Air Base Orders Additional Carmanah Taxiway Edge Lights

The US Air Force of Tallil Air Base has ordered an additional 50 units of Carmanah's solar LED taxiway edge lights, 50 airport mounting plates and 50 floor flange frangible couplings for permanent installation at the Iraqi Air Base. Tallil AFB will use the solar LED taxiway lights to replace existing retro reflective markers, providing self-illumination to increase airfield safety for pilots of taxiing aircraft.

TransLink Tests New Bus Stops

TransLink has begun testing 17 new solar-powered bus stops at a cost of $1,500 each. Regular bus stops cost $100 to $200 depending on whether they're new or attached to existing posts. The new bus stops -- called i-STOP -- are in use in 60 transit systems in North America. They are produced by B.C.
