Carmanah Provides Additional Solar Bus Shelter Lighting to Tempe, Arizona

Carmanah's Solar LED Lighting Group has received a new, follow-on contract from the City of Tempe, Arizona to supply i-SHELTER™ solar bus shelter lighting systems. The Company is pleased to report that the city has also extended the terms of an existing contract through which Carmanah's solar-powered LED lighting systems are being retrofitted to the city's 'mini' bus shelters.

Carmanah Awarded Contract for Solar-Powered Bus Stop Lighting with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority

Carmanah's Transit Lighting Division has received an order from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) to deliver 245 of its i-STOP® solar-powered LED bus stop lighting systems. This order follows the successful rollout of thousands of stops with other local agencies in southern California.

Carmanah Receives Additional Order for Solar LED Taxiway Lights from US Marine Corps

Carmanah's Solar Aviation Lighting Division has received an additional order from the US Marine Corps for more than 100 of its Model A601 solar-powered LED taxiway lights. These units will be used at various airfields in the Middle East. Carmanah's solar-powered LED taxiway lighting are ideal for regions with little or no access to reliable grid power because they are completely self-powering.

Carmanah Supplies US Air Force with Additional Solar LED Taxiway Lights

Carmanah's Solar LED Lighting Group has recently supplied an additional 200 Model A601 solar LED taxiway lights to the US Air Force for installation at a Middle East air base. More than 1000 units have been supplied to this base since 2003. Carmanah's solar-powered aviation lights are a cost-effective, no-maintenance solution ideal for harsh conditions that require reliable operation to increase airfield safety.
