Carmanah Technologies Corporation (TSX: CMH) (“the Company”) today announces the resignation of Peter Berrang from the Board of Directors.

“Peter has been active and involved with Carmanah throughout his board tenure” said Michael Sonnenfeldt, Chairman of the Board. “In fact, it was Peter’s initiative that led to board reform and the management changes which set Carmanah’s dramatic turnaround in motion. Without his initiative I doubt that the Company would have been able to make the progress it has over the past 3-years. All of us at Carmanah wish him all the best in the future.”

Mr. Berrang has been a board member since May, 2010 and will remain an investor in the company. “Watching Carmanah develop over the past few years has been very rewarding.” said Peter Berrang. “I am pleased to be leaving my director role with the Company in such great condition and with such a promising future.”

Mr. Berrang’s resignation is effective immediately.
