US Air Force Base Chooses Carmanah High-Intensity Airfield Lighting
The A704-5 is designed to install easily in a wide variety of locations and comes in a variety of designs including red/green split lens and optional olive drab chassis.
Holloman AFB has selected Carmanah A704-H white approach lights and A704-5 red/green threshold lights to illuminate target areas during pilot air-to-ground range training exercises.

Carmanah Aviation Outfits Remote Central American Airfield With Comprehensive Lighting Solution
Carmanah Aviation has delivered a shipment of 90 runway lights, an ADB-Carmanah solar powered wind cone, and a wireless control device for use at a remote installation in Central America. The project, led by ADB-Carmanah partner Victor Garcia, includes the deployment of white runway edge lights, red/green threshold lights, and yellow/white caution lights.
Carmanah Patents System to Wirelessly Control Aviation and Obstruction Marking Lights
The US Patent Office has granted Carmanah a patent relating to the wireless control of solar powered aviation and obstruction marking lights. The unique design of this light allows Carmanah's A704-H and A704-I solar LED lights to be grouped and programmed simultaneously without requiring a wired connection to a central control tower.
