Carmanah Provides Solar Power Systems for Perimeter Security in Puerto Rico

Carmanah is pleased to announce that it has supplied an order to TAKEX America for 20 units of its proprietary 102 watt MAPPS (Modular Autonomous Photovoltaic Power Supply) systems. These stand-alone solar-powered units will be installed in San Juan, Puerto Rico as part of a solar-powered perimeter security system.

On May 26th 2006, Carmanah joined the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce in welcoming Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The Prime Minister addressed a sold out Chamber luncheon held at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia. During his remarks, Prime Minister Harper promised fixed election dates with four year terms and more MP seats for British Columbia.

Carmanah Supplies US Navy with Integrated Solar Power Systems

Carmanah has received an order for more than $200K from the US Navy to supply additional units of its proprietary MAPPS (Mobile Autonomous Photovoltaic Power Supply) systems for installation at the Smoky Hill Air National Guard Range in Saline County, KS.
