Carmanah’s LED Edge-Lit Signs Ordered from Diamond Jo Casino in Iowa

Carmanah Signs has received an order from Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque, IA for 17 units of its LED edge-lit table limit signs. The signs will be installed on gaming tables throughout the casino and will brightly illuminate each table's betting limits using Carmanah's LED edge-lit technology. Carmanah's LED illuminated table signs feature detailed custom engraving of Diamond Jo's casino logo, multi-color bright illumination, and a digital display that changes the table minimum and maximum betting limits with the click of a button.

Hurricane Rebuilding

In the week following the hurricane Katrina, Carmanah Technoliges Inc. received orders for over 500 of its solar-powered LED marine, railway and aviation lights. To meet the demand, the Company had diverted all of its inventory and production to the hurrican region, said Carmanah's CEO, Art Aylesworth. Most of the orders have been for Carmanah's 700 Series marine navigation lights, which were sent to the US Coast Guard in Mobile, Alabama, for distribution to affected areas in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

Carmanah Receives Order for Solar LED Transit Products from the State of Washington

Carmanah is pleased to report it has received an order to provide Island Transit in The State of Washington with 100 units of its i-SIGNALâ„¢ solar-powered LED (light-emitting diode) bus signaling device and 45 units of its i-SHELTERâ„¢ solar-powered LED lighting system. The units will be installed at various bus stops and shelters throughout Coupeville, Washington on Whidbey Island, north of Seattle, WA. Island Transit is a Public Transportation Benefit Area (PTBA), which provides free-fare transit rides and ridesharing services to its local Island County riders.

Carmanah Provides LED Edge-Lit Street Signs to the City of Oakland, CA.

Carmanah's Roadway Division has received an order to provide several units of its UL-listed, industry-leading R409 LED illuminated street name sign for the City of Oakland, California. This order follows a previous purchase for an evaluation unit of the R409, which was successfully trialed by the City of Oakland and is expected to lead to additional future orders..

Carmanah LED Street Name Signs Improve Downtown Livermore, CA.

Carmanah's Roadways Division has received an order from the City of Livermore, CA for 12 units of its R409 LED-illuminated, street-name sign. These signs have been installed in downtown Livermore along the First Street Corridor as part of Livermore's First Street Landscape Project. Livermore's experience with traditional hard-wired fluorescent signs, and the associated ongoing maintenance and high-energy costs, motivated the city to purchase Carmanah's LED signs.

Carmanah Sells LED Street Name Signs To Hurricane-Prone Florida Region

Carmanah has received a preliminary order for 20 units of its R409 LED edge-lit street-name signs from Lee County in Florida. The signs will be installed at five separate intersections in Ft Myers. Lee County selected Carmanah's R409 street name signs for their slim design and even light output.
