R247-MX systems feature embedded connectivity, making installation easy. From the moment a system receives power, it connects both locally to the MX Field App^™ and remotely to MX Cloud^™, providing easy remote access to system status, settings, and data.

Timely and actionable alerts

Cities with MX systems can enable email and text alerts so they can know the minute there’s an issue, be it a knockdown, dead battery, or something else. Detailed location and module information reduce downtime and boost site visit efficiency while providing enhanced citizen safety.

MX Flasher Modules

The R247-MX connected crosswalk system can be equipped with MX RRFB, MX Beacon or MX LED Sign Modules. All Carmanah MX Series flasher modules meet MUTCD Standards for flashing beacons and LED enhanced signage, including MUTCD 11th Ed. for RRFBs. MX Beacon Modules are available in 12″ (305 mm) or 8″ (203 mm) diameter sizes. MX LED Sign Modules (S5-1 “School Zone Speed Limit When Flashing” sign) are available in standard 24″ x 48″ sizes and more.

MX Power Modules

Four MX Power Module options—available in both solar and AC power—allow MX Series systems to operate reliably in any location. Compact, integrated solar and battery systems can mount to a variety of square and round poles and install quickly. Cabinet-based systems come in compact and standard cabinet sizes, can be powered by solar or AC and can accommodate additional third-party devices.
