Prevent wrong-way collisions before they happen

The WWD-MX system is a cost-effective, comprehensive, and configurable solution for preventing collisions. Typically installed at or near freeway exit ramps—the primary origin of wrong-way events—WWD-MX is a “smart module” design. It can be configured with LED-enhanced signs or beacons to alert wrong-way drivers and encourage self-correction. Multiple signs can be installed along a ramp to help get drivers’ attention before they enter the main roadway. Adding optional radar to a unit further enhances safety; when the radar unit detects a wrong-way vehicle, the system activates the LEDs to warn the driver of their error while triggering actionable email and text alerts to MX Cloud™.​

The WWD-MX system monitors highway ramps 24 hours daily for wrong-way vehicles without interfering with other traffic detection systems. ​
