In British Columbia, Bike to Work Week started in the city of Victoria—home to Carmanah’s head office—23 years ago with 500 participants as a way to promote commuter cycling. Today, communities across the province take part, with participants numbering 37,000 in 2016.

Carmanah named 2015 ACE Industry Partner of the Year

On March 18th, 2016 Carmanah was presented with the Association for Co-operative Education (ACE), Industry Partner Award for 2015.  "The University of Victoria’s Co-op & Career Services nominated Carmanah Technologies for this award because of their incredible support, as well as the support of their staff, of the 21 students Carmanah has hired since 2011.
