Carmanah’s Solar LED Lighting Group has received an order from The University of California Irvine (UC Irvine) for R247C solar stop sign flashers. These stop sign flashers will be installed at problem stop sign locations throughout the campus.
UC Irvine is one of the fastest-growing campuses in the University of California system. With 24,000 students, 1,400 faculty members and 8,300 staff, roadway safety on campus is paramount. Typically, schools, colleges, and universities are not qualified to install hard-wired systems, therefore the ease of installation of Carmanah’s product easily fits within their capabilities. Carmanah’s roadway lighting products do not require electrical contractors and can be installed on standard 2-inch round signposts.
