This year, the Vision Zero Advocate Institute and ATS Traffic present the second annual Vision Zero Advocate Conference. Carmanah is a proud advocate of the goals that Vision Zero strives for: zero fatalities and serious injuries related to traffic incidents. This year’s event is in Toronto, a designated Vision Zero city, and is aimed at transportation engineers, road safety advocates, politicians, emergency responders, and many other roles related to roadways and the people who use them.
The Vision Zero conference aims to “connect and inspire delegates with best practice interventions, advancements in innovation, essential tools for implementation and in-depth case studies of successful Vision Zero cities.” Led by industry experts, the sessions and workshops at the conference will address the implementation stages of projects that can lead to tangible results. Road safety partners from all over North America, including Carmanah Traffic, will also be on hand at the tradeshow to provide the latest news, products, and technology from the traffic industry.
